Hello from Yuka from Ichiroya. Today we like to share the fantastic video made by Miriam Bendìa san(san is used as a courtesy title in Japanese) and her husband.

This time, they made the above video about the shop of their friend, Kitai san.The name of the shop is Oharibako, and their shop is located in Kyoto.


At his shop, they sell delightful hana-kanzashi, hair ornaments and other charming accessories using kimono silk fabrics. You can see old or vintage kimono fabrics becoming enchanting accessories! Their products are so charming,  for example, making hair accessories using the remnant of kimono you have, so you can have the matching accessories with your kimono! They have smart phone cover and other unique products too!

Miriam san (san is used as a courtesy title in Japanese) is an author of this book `Maiko's Diary')-this novel is imaginary diary of a modern maiko that is doing her best to
become a geisha wise in the traditional Japanese arts.
