Dear Ichiroya newsletter readers,
Hello, How are you doing?
Megumi is writing.
The start of the rainy season is not announced for the Kansai region.
The other day, I went to Kyoto to see the fresh green.
I like Kyoto of ‘Ao Momiji(maple tree not yet turned red)’ season .
It is because Kyoto will be very crowded when it is the season of maple leaves.
I absolutely do not want to go there.
I went to Genkoan and Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine.
Now it is the season of "Ajisai" (Hydrangea).
These pictures show Mimo Shrine of Aichi prefecture.
Recently, it has become popular to decorate ‘Temizuya (purification trough)’ with flowers.
But I thought that this was not practical, because hydrangea is toxic.
By the way, June brides are also popular in Japan.
However, weddings at shrines will increase in autumn…
The other day I went to try on dresses,
Even though I said that, I do not mean to have a wedding.
It is just a memorial day.
I usually wear kimono, but this time I tried the western dress.
It was light and easy to move.
Wearing dresses is very nice but I prefer kimono.
I would like to recommend "Ajisai" (Hydrangea) designs.
Thank you for reading this to the end.
See you next time.
